City Delegates

Heritage League Football is recruiting City Delegates—local shareholder leaders who help transition league vision into execution in their community. This is not a franchise purchase. This is institutional building, city by city.

Local Credibility
Execution-First
Football-First Culture
League-Approved
Shareholder Required

Note: The League Constitution is public. Operational mechanics, compensation structures, and internal role agreements are governed privately through internal operating documents and contracts.

What this is

A League-approved local leader who helps organize the city rollout—football operations, community alignment, and practical execution.

What this is not

Not a franchise buyout. Not a vanity title. Not a political platform. Not a “sit back and watch” role.

Why it matters

City Delegates are the bridge between a durable league vision and real-world local execution—one city at a time.

Is This a Fit?

Ideal Delegate Profiles

Any one of these can qualify if they can execute and lead.

  • Respected coach, former player, or football operator with local trust and a real network.
  • Proven community builder (events, venues, sponsorships, civic partnerships).
  • Operations-minded leader who can coordinate people, logistics, and timelines.
  • Established local professional with credibility and follow-through.

What We Look For (Non-Negotiables)

  • Execution track record: you get things done and people follow your lead.
  • Community credibility: your name carries weight locally.
  • Alignment: you respect league standards and governance discipline.
  • Shareholder commitment: delegates are shareholders in good standing.
  • Long-horizon mindset: this is built to last—no hype cycles.

What You’ll Do

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the League-recognized city liaison for the transition from vision → execution.
  • Help identify and coordinate local football leadership and operational talent.
  • Support local media alignment (sports radio, talk radio, TV sports segments).
  • Coordinate community touchpoints: events, partnerships, venues, and rollout milestones.
  • Provide regular execution updates to League leadership.

Authority Boundaries

  • Delegates do not issue equity and do not set league policy.
  • Delegates do not promise contracts, roster spots, or financial outcomes.
  • Delegates operate within League standards and are accountable to League review.
  • Operational roles (if any) are separate, contracted positions based on skills and need.

Shareholder Requirement

City Delegates must be shareholders in good standing and meet the League’s ownership commitment standard.

Constitutional Standard: City Delegates are expected to meet a minimum commitment of 2,500 shares (at $15/share).
The League may structure role-specific methods for satisfying the ownership standard through internal agreements and contracts, based on contribution and operational need.

What You Get

  • Official League-recognized Delegate designation for your city.
  • A direct role in building a long-term football institution locally.
  • Priority consideration for contracted operational roles aligned to your skill set.
  • Founding-era leadership positioning in a community-owned sports model.

How Consideration Works

1) Inquiry

Submit a short inquiry with your background, city, and what you’d want to help build.

2) Screening

League reviews credibility, execution history, and city-fit. References may be requested.

3) Appointment

Delegates are approved by League vote and onboarded into city execution planning.
